THE OFFICIAL SANTA SIGHTING REPORT LOG
DEC. 25TH - 2005 - LOS ANGELES, CA
Two girls, age 9 and 11 report a sequence of annual Santa Sightings, beginning in 1996. They report finding photographs of Santa sleeping on their couch and under their tree. The tree was identified in the photographs because of its unique color (flocked blue). The photos were received in a mysterious manilla envelope and appeared to be from Rudolph, according to their report. It is unknown whether any Clausologists have studied the photos, but the report is filed as "highly likely" due to the frank testimony of the witnesses. This sighting is remarkable and we hope to hear more details in the future.

DEC. 25TH - 2004 - DOVER, MA
A twelve year old boy reports a phenomenal santa event that altered his position on the subject. The sighting is unique because it is verified by an injury to his hand. The boy reports waking because his dog was startled and "started jumping up and down and growling." On a trip to the restroom, he accidentally injured his hand in the door and was forced to affix a bandage. Just then, he reports seeing "about a dozen reindeer and a sleigh," for about four seconds. The mysterious aircraft was said to be approximately 21 ft in the air and "flying fast." The entire sighting occurred in less than four seconds.* The sighting was so phenomenal, the next day he thought it was a dream, but the bandage on his finger verified the event was in fact real.
*Since we know this witness saw Santa at a height of 21ft and the event lasted less than four seconds, we can estimate Santa's rate of travel. If we assume the witness had an unobstructed view of at least half a mile (2,640 ft) and taking into consideration the human field of view is 180 degrees by 120 degrees, it can be said Santa and his sleigh were traveling at least 900 mph, if the sleigh's ascent was not greater than 45 degrees.
DEC. 25TH - 2004 - IOWA, USA

DEC. 24 - 2001 IRONWOOD, MI
A ten year old boy reports seeing Santa's reindeer and sleigh in great detail. The sleigh is reported to be "at least 20 ft long." Several reindeer are seen and described as "not ordinary." The boys wonderfully descriptive report is shown (unedited) below:
"Every Christmas night I've looked out my window, it wasnt until the year 2001 when I saw something I would never forget. I had woken up for no apperant reason as I did every year, and looked out my window, it was those few seconds that would change my life forever. There in front of me I saw a sleigh that had a very long back to it, it was at least 20 ft long with burlap bags stacked as high as the sky! The sitting area was small like the size of the front seats of a car, but this is was not the most amazing thing I had seen, for attached to the sleigh were 6 or 8 reindeer! These were not ordinary reindeer though, these reindeer had so many points on their antlers that they looked like a tree with twisted roots, there were so many I couldn't even count them! besides that there muscles were so huge you could see them rippling in the moonlight! The front two deer are the only ones I could make out, I recall the one to the right shaking its head stamping its feet and snorting! Another strange incident I recall was an empty bag blowing off sleigh and into the wind, but the strangest thing was there was no santa to catch it! Thats right, I saw no Santa at the sleigh, (god knows where that crazy guy was! Possibly in my own house!) I had seen all of this in about 10 seconds, before I had ran screaming to my parents to wake up! But sadly, when they reached my window the entire sleigh was gone. I still think back to what would've happened if I had stayed or had opened my window and ran towards it! Would I have gotten a ride! Only god knows. I am 14 years old now and I still believe in Santa and I always will. I am still searching for answers, and will continue to look out my window."
